Getting it together

I am really wanting to keep this up but I am horrible at being consistent, I am way too random!  This month I am going to try some blogging challenges, but surprise I am already late to start so will post a few today to catch up!!

So day 1 was a self portrait and 5 random facts!

 

1. I am obsessed with football, the Packers especially as you can see!

2. I have lived in 10 different states and 2 countries so far in my life, hopefully more to come but not too soon:)

3.  I am super random and like to change things alot

4. I am crazily easy going, not much bothers me and if it does I try to change it right away

5. I love love love my animals, wish I won the lottery so I could take care of more:)

Orienting myself!

The boys have their middle school orientation today. We get to find out their class schedules and hopefully get the bus stop figured out. A few days a week I will have a different bus for all three kids since Nate is taking a class at the High school this year..EEK! So not ready for him to do that but he impresses me to no end.

We picked up our box of CSA goodies today too from C & T produce. LOVE IT! Lots of apples, tomatoes, corn, summer squash, and Asian pears, yummy.  Now to figure out what to do with it all..I am so new at fixing lots of veggies but this year I am learning quick and loving it.


The next few days I will update all the good stuff I did this summer to out new backyard and my re-purposing of old items and projects I have running around in my mind.

Stromboli

Today creation, tastes great! I am not good with presentation but boy this this is delish!

I used pillsbury refrigerated french bread, spread it out, put ham then layered crumbled cooked bacon and shredded swiss cheese. Rolled it up and cooled it at 350 for 25 min..easy and yummy.

So Busy

So busy this week! Volunteering at school today, then PTO tonight. Dentist, volunteering at school then Nate has band practice tomorrow, Painting crafts on Thursday and a band concert..not to mention Kassi's playdates, I think Friday may be the only day I am not doing anything so far! I can't wait for school to be over!

Ok so I don't keep up with my blog well!

Ya, I am bad at it, looks like its been almost 2 years since I have updated:( Oh well, so I will be better this year! Rush and I just celebrated our 15th anniversary..we went out to a sushi joint, Domo 77 in Aurora, and I loved it!
Today is going to be a day of planting and moving mulch if it ever dries up, I hate planting in mud so I am waiting..or putting it off:) Besides that I am just catching up on email and facebook and letting the kids veg out for a while before I make them work..fun! Maybe i'll get them some fast food for lunch since Rush went to work today. Till later!
